73. CAPT. ZEBULON5 SEYMOUR (//[[025.zebulon|Zebulon]]//4,

//[[001.Richard|Richard]]//1), born at Hartford, Conn., 12 Sept.
1736, died there 27 July 1807 (gravestone); married at New Hartford, 25 Sept.
1759, ANN5 MARSH, born at Hartford, 22 Feb. 1741, died there 14 Nov.
1812, daughter of Rev. Jonathan4 (Rev. Jonathan3,
Jonathan2, John1) and Elizabeth (Sheldon).
He was a member of the Common Council in 1784, and held other town offices in
Hartford.
Will of Zebulon Seymour of Hartford, dated 8 June 1807, proved 3 Aug. 1807,
mentions wife Ann; daughter Harriet Seymour, to whom he gave my houselot, house,
etc., devised to me by the will of my late father Zebulon Seymour deceased; son
Joseph Whiting Seymour, to whom he gave all my interest in the estate which I
purchased with my said son of the administrators of Capt. Israel Seymour late of
Hartford dec'd, now in his occupancy. (Land purchased of Bille Seymour
mentioned, which formerly belonged to my brother Aaron Seymour dec'd.) To my
three grandchildren, Jerusha King Seymour, Harry Ripley Seymour and Orra
Seymour, children of my son Epaphras dec'd. Inventory of the estate of Capt.
Zebulon Seymour taken 3 Dec. 1807. Amount, $5640.26; land mentioned which is
occupied by Joseph W. Seymour.
