Lon Stewart CRAWFORD & Maud ---

Father: Lon Stewart CRAWFORD, (son of Robert "Bob" CRAWFORD), b. 11 Feb 1894, Boonville Missouri, d. ABT 1928

Birth info is taken from his draft registeration card for World War I. He states he was born in Boonesville Missouri. The card also lists him as a farmer which is his occupation on the 1920 Census. He was according to his draft card single in 1918 and working for BMW Jenett, he was tall, medium skin tone, gray eyes and dark brown hair. He lists his address as Road #1 Overton, Missouri which is in Cooper County.. In 1920 census it is reported he is 27 years old and born in Missouri ,listing both his parents are being born in Missouri. Because Oscar the eldest son in 1920 is 13, I tend to believe that Lon was Maud's second husband. The other children are listed as Elizabeth D 7 years old and then initials L.S (probably Stewart like his father) for the youngest child Lon who is 1 and 1/2 in 1920. They are living in Clark Fork township in Cooper County Missouri. Lon's death date is taken from Sharon Seymour who recalls her Dad telling her he was 10 when his father died.

Mother: Maud —, b. ABT 1884, Missouri, d. ABT 1935

Mauds birth year taken from Census of 1920 in Cooper County Missouri. She is 34 and her eldest child Oscar and even Elizabeth are probably by her first husband as on Lon's draft registeration card in 1918 he is still single and Elizabeth would have been born in 1913 and Oscar in 1907 and I believe Sharon Crawford Seymour reported that Elizabeth was a half brother of her Dad Lon S Crawford Jr. Maud's death date comes from Sharon as well who reported her father had lost both parents by 17 years of age.Maud's parents are born in Kentucky according to that census. Efforts to locate her aftet 1920 have been difficult on a census.
