+He was one of the number injured by the blowing up of the school-house, in the
+midst of the rejoicings for the repeal of the Stamp Act, 23 May 1766, but his
+hurts were slight. He served during the Revolutionary War, as Quartermaster,
+Cornet 10 July 1778, Lieutenant 2 June 1779, and Captain in Sheldon's Light
+Dragoons. After the Vvar, he became a merchant in Lansingburgh, N.Y.  He
+afterwards lived in New York City.
+In the Census of 1790, he was listed at Rensselaerwick, Albany Co., N.Y.
