married 20 Dec. 1825, JULIA MARIA <sup>7</sup> COGSWELL, born at New Preston,
Conn., 16 Feb. 1805, died at West Hartford, 28 Jan. 1878, daughter of Hon.
William<sup>6</sup> (//William//<sup>5</sup>, //Edward//<sup>4</sup>, //William//<sup>3</sup>, //William//<sup>2</sup>,
//John//<sup>1</sup>) and Amaryllis (Johnson).

He was a farmer in West Hartford, on land that had belonged to the first
[[0003.john|John Seymour]], and which continued in the family until 1876.
