//[[001.richard|Richard]]//<sup>1</sup>), born at New Hartford, Conn., 15 June
1790, died at Palermo, N.Y., 6 May 1864; married 13 Feb. 1817, SARAH OLMSTEAD,
born at New Hartford, N.Y., 1 Apr. 1789, died there 18 July 1866, daughter of
Gamaliel and Esther (Goodwin). She was the first female white child born at New
Hartford, N.Y.

Lauren removed from the Connecticut home to Wolcott, N.Y., in 1812, but after
his marriage settled in Palermo, Oswego Co., N.Y.
