 +He settled in Buffalo, N.Y.; bar examiner, 4th Department, 1884-93; Lt.-Col., 
 +Judge Advocate, 4th Division, National Guard, New York, 1889; lecturer on agency 
 +and partnership, Buffalo Law School, 1889-94; U. S. Commissioner of Jurors since 
 +1890; Erie County Supreme Court, Deputy Commissioner of Jurors, since 1895. He 
 +was author of "Ceramic Art in Egypt." He was a member of Buffalo Club, and
