-on the 1851 Douglas Parish census, p. 136, William and George (above) lived 2 doors from each other. Both were farmers and proprietors.

In 1861 the two families were listed next to each other.

1851: -SEYMORE, William 50, Ellen 48 and Susanna 20 arrived in July, 1832.

Remaining children listed under # 42 William. Of the 3 districts in 1861, district 2 returns have been lost.

-1861 Douglas, District 1, reel C-1007, NAC: -SEYMOUR, William 61, b. Ire., Farmer, Episcopalian; Helen (sic) 58, b. Ire., (children were “native”)

-Helen 20, Samuel 14.

1851: -SEYMORE, George 47, Margaret 47 & Ann 21 arrived in province in June, 1832.

Mathematically, Ann's age doesn't add up and it appears odd that George's brother wouldn't arrive until a month later. The remaining children, b. in N.B. were: Susan 17, Fredrick (sic) 14, George 11, Richard 9, William 6, John 4.

1861: Margaret 56, b. Ire., Farmer, Episcopalian; (children were “native”)

Fredrick (sic), son 25, George 21, Richard 19, William 16, John 14.
