122. CONSTANTINE⁶ SEYMOUR (Uriah⁵, John⁴, John³, John², Richard^l), baptized at New Hartford, Conn., 22 Feb. 1767, living at Trenton, N.Y., 1826; married first, at New Hartford, 17 Feb. 1791, his cousin, ASENATH HURLBUT SEYMOUR, born at New Hartford, 5 Apr. 1768, died there Feb. 1818, daughter of Elias and Tryphenia (Hurlbut); married second, before 25 Feb. 1822, ELEANOR DOWD, born in 1779, died at Paris Hill, N.Y., without issue, daughter of Job and Lydia (Wilcox).

He removed to New Hartford, N.Y., and was elected Elder of the Presbyterian Church (First Church at Whitestown), 24 Jan. 1808. He was a large iron manufacturer.

Note from Jim: These are my great-great-grandparents! Willard Franklin Seymour was born 16 Feb. 1836 in Oneida Co., N.Y. and died 20 July 1902 in Lead, Lawrence Co., S.D. He was married on 27 Oct. 1858 in Joliet, Will Co., IL. to Sarah Mary Ryan, who was born in Newton, Kilcock, near Maynooth, Co Meath, Ireland on 23 Nov. 1834. Sarah's parents were James Ryan and Abigail Potterton. Her mother died when Sarah was about 13 and she was sent to America when she was 15. She and Willard had nine children - including my great-grandfather, Frank Allen Seymour. Frank's only child was my grandfather, also named Willard Franklin Seymour.
