The third Mrs. Seymour had taught school some years in the South School on Wadsworth Street, Hartford, before her marriage. She was first president of the Charter Oak Branch, International Sunshine Society, and a member of the Hearthstone Club. She was also a member of the South Congregational Church, and of the Women's Auxiliary to the Hartford Y.M.C.A., and for twenty years was president of the Hartford branch of the Children's Aid Society. || |
