+He settled as a merchant in Utica, N.Y., until 1834, and was afterwards a banker
+in Cleveland, Ohio. He was at the head of the Board of Health in Cleveland at
+the time of the cholera epidemic. He gave unstinted service to the people, was
+exhausted and died as the epidemic passed; the poor attended his funeral by
+hundreds.
