W. F. Seymour kept several journals during his life – which have been passed down to me. The ones that remain date from 1876 through 1891, plus a small outlier from 1902 (the year he died).

This page is an attempt to digitize and transcribe these journals.

NOTE: These journals are not diaries (per se). More often than not, they simply document the daily transactions – mostly financial – from his life. Though there are many references to family and neighbors, so there is likely some genealogical benefit.

As of today, there is no organization to these pictures. You may click on the thumbnail to see a closeup, but that is all. In the future, I intend to make each image a separate, editable page with a transcription.
