Found on the 1860 Census in Decatur County Iowa living next door to his father Coleman. Josiah is living with his new wife Martha. In 1870 he is in Sniabar township in Jackson County Missouri living not far from his father Coleman and his brother William A Seymour. In 1870 Josiah is listed as Joseph and he and wife Martha have a 1 year old son Leonard In 1880 he and Martha are living in Sniabar township with children Albert L or Leonard, Ada, Charles, Archie and Nora. . In 1900 Josiah is living in Sniabar with Martha, children Lee, Nora, Roy and Lillian and his sister in law Lizzie Humphries. Josiah was the son of Coleman and the executor of Coleman Seymour's will and I was in contact with his great granddaughter Jeanne Hodges from Independence, Mo The tombstone reads'Gone but not forgotten.“ He died of what they termed general disability
