Note that this is the granddaughter of John Sparrow who was named in the 1749 will of Thomas Seymour of Brunswick County. John Sparrow was Thomas Seymour's stepson according to a document seen by Darrell Dunlop, indeed it is thought his mother is the widow in that will, Sarah who is thought to have married a Sparrow man. Thus, this family stayed connected for some time.
