All info on the children of this family and the marriage of Nancy and Joseph from her records online there. While there are other genealogies for a Joseph Garlington on World Connect, I only copied the one he can be definitely linked with because of his marriage to Nancy Crawley. I can not definitely say any of the other Josephs are connected with this family because none have identifable spouses. Therefore I presented only the one that is properly connected.and is well researched. Also because that Joseph is the only one linked to Georgia where indeed his son John Lewis Garlington is born. Joseph Garlington is listed as being the buyer of 6 sows from the estate of Pascal Smith in Oglethorpe Georgia in 1822, so indeed there is Joseph Garlington in Georgia. Joseph probate is indexed in 1823 according to the Georgia will index. Nancy H Garlington is again a widow in 1823 and remarries a man named John High and has further children. However she is again a widow by 1838 and is a winner of a land lottery and listed as a widow in Oglethorpe County, Georgia according to Rootsweb file. Not many women participated in Land lotteries in those days. Also note Nancy Crawley Garlington does quite well on her own after her husbands death acquiring several land patents in Georgia.in her maiden name of Nancy Crawley ..
