Note that the birth years are different on several documents. In 1920 Reeder, Anderson County Census Ralph is 30 years old making his social security card.at World Connect date of 1899 of April right on the money. However he also says in 1930 census same area he is 38 and on the World Connect database they have him born in 1891 of November. . I have used the 1899 date for purposes of this genealogy because of his social security card. Date of death comes from social security card database World Connect on a different source. He also has his birthplace as Nevada and Kansas on different census 1920 and 1930. I have used Kansas. or Nevada.
Mother: Ina Freda YOUNG, b. 6 Jun 1893, Long Island New York, d. 3 Mar 1937
Ina's info comes from three places, Sharon Crawford Seymour , who is her granddaughter and the World Connect file titled My Mace Line and related families. Also Ina is found on 1930 Reeder Anderson County Census in Kansas. Her age in 1930 is listed as 36 which fits in line with her 1893 birth year on the Mace Line. However, on the Census she states she is born in Iowa and her parents are born in Indiana.not Long Island New York. Note this is not at all unusual to have the wrong birth place for parents and even the individual. There is no telling who answered the door on census day , or what they knew about the families location prior years back, but this is the same exact individual as both databases have her married to Ralph Kramer and Sharon confirms Ralph Norman had a wife named Ina F Young. and indeed Melissa Robards who has the Mace line database on World Connect has an exact marriage date for Ina and Ralph. . Note that in the 1930 census the Kramers are spelled Cramers, again misspelling a more common event than uncommon in census info. She appears to have died very far in advance of her husband who died 36 years after her.
