My uncle Noah died when i was around five but I remember him as being outgoing and mischievous always with a twinkle in his eye and my Aunt Alma and he were crazy about one another. <

Mother: Alma Blanche WHALEN, (daughter of David Edward WHALEN), b. 28 Feb 1910, Kansas City Kansas, d. 17 Feb 2001, Shawnee Kansas, bur. Maple Hill Cemetery

This aunt lived in Kansas City until her husbands death and after she moved to Albuquerque New Mexico to be with her sister. After her sister's death she moved up to KC and in with her son. In some ways she was very like my mother as she was sensitive like her and I think more shy than her sisters. I remember her with fondness as she was very kind to me. It is at this point I also wish to acknowledge Alma's granddaughter Cheri Piersee for her help in research and photos,on all the families, her support and enthusiasm always kept me going on this project. I could not have done this without her. I also owe her much gratitude for her friendship and hold her in the highest affection, truly a friend for life. .Kansas City Star, The (MO) - February 20, 2001 Deceased Name: ALMA B. PIERSEE Alma B.
