Wilhelm-Mina Koepke (my ggrandmother), b: June 29, 1850, Mecklenburg,

Germany; d: March 17, 1935, Pawnee County, Oklahoma; b: Pawnee Highland
Cemetery, Pawnee, OK; m: Joseph Walenciak, March 16, 1884, Mecklenburg,
Germany; immigrated from Poland to the US, October 15, 1887 with her
husband and three children: Anna (later married Charles Louis Myers),
Paul Bennett (later married Minnie Elizabeth Patterson), Herman (later
married Vera Grace Franklin). They had one child, August who had died in
infancy in Germany before they immigrated to the US.

The family first settled in Wilcox, Nebraska (a small town no longer on
the map) where possibly Wilhelm-Mina's two sisters lived, who had
already immigrated to the US and settled in Nebraska. Their names were
Rick Boldt (married name) and Lena Stoll or Stohl (married name). From
Nebraska the Walenciak family traveled by covered wagon through Missouri
to Oklahoma and settled in a dugout in Gutherie, OK. Later they moved to
Pawnee, Oklahoma and made their home there.
1900 this family can be found in Logan County Oklahoma Antelope township.on that census. Joseph verfies his immigration date as 1887 and lists his occupation as a farmer.
