Williams date of birth varies as well , in 1900 census he is listed as being born in 1892. On 1910 Census he is only 13 putting his date of birth more around 1897. In 1920 William is progressively younger listed as 20 making his birth year in 1900. While his tombstone date is 1896 on his death certificate while it lists him as being 24 at the time of his death of epilepsy, the death certicate says he was born in Cook County Illinois in 1898. I have chosen the year 1896 because it matches up with him being 24 in 1920 at the time of his death and his tombstone reads 1896. His middle initial was S. He was single at the time of his death and his father William McDonald is the informant on the death. His mother's maiden name is listed as McRitchie. Because he is born in Cook County Illinois on the death certificate probably he and his sisters Lillie and Maggie were actually born in Illinois and not in Missouri as the girls records erroneously indicate on 1930 Census.
