American Seymour Genealogy

James B SEYMOUR, (son of Coleman " Cole" SEYMOUR), b. 13 Oct 1843, Iowa or Missouri

Territory was disputed , his father Coleman left Tennesee in mid forties and was in area of what is now Decatur County Iowa but Missouri claimed this land before court decision. I believe this son was dead prior to 1870 as I do not find him in his father's house nor do I find any James Seymour who fits this age or birth area in all of 1870 Census.
