Mark(4) Potterton

MARK4 POTTERTON (THOMAS3, JOHN2, THOMAS1) was born Abt. 1733 in Rathcormick, Parish of Kildalkey, County Meath, Ireland, and died Abt. 1818 in Newton Prospect Manor, near Maynooth, Kilcock, County Meath, Ireland. He married ELEANOR/ELLINOR JONES April 14, 1768 in St. Nicholas Without, City of Dublin, Ireland, daughter of JOSEPH JONES. She was born Abt. 1747, and died December 17, 1825 in Trim, County Meath, Ireland.

He inherited lands Pagetstown & Hardrestown, also through his marriage with Ellinor Jones, and subsequently purchased Newtownmoyahy.

Birth of Mark Potterton confirmed by father's will 1862.

Will dated March 22, 1816 - left land to daughters Abigail and Sarah (72 acres 1 rood 13 perches late Irish plantation).

Children of MARK POTTERTON and ELEANOR/ELLINOR JONES are:
i. ABIGAIL5, b. Bet. 1805 - 1815; d. Bet. 1846 - 1849, Newtownmoyaghy, Moyglare Parish, Meath County, Ireland.
ii. SARAH, d. Abt. 1832; m. MICHAEL L. MONAGHAN.
Death reference for Sarah - Deed Office 888/103/587603 Monaghan & ors Deeds Partition lands of Moyaghy
November 5, 1831. She left land to her husband.
Sarah and Michael had no children.
iii. JOSEPH, d. Abt. 1801.
