Father: Heinrich SCHWARZENHOLZ, (son of (Private)), b. May 1867, Germany
Heinrich comes over on June 4, 1895 to Castlegarden port. He advises his residence is Brandenbourg and his is 30 years old. He advises he is heading for Kansas City probably the biggest city near Lawrence KS where he eventually ended up on the 1900 Census with his new wife Sophia. In 1900 he is living in Lawrence, Douglas County and has his immigration year correct as 1895.He is listed under Schwarzenhoz and in the index it lists him as Schwarzenho. In 1910 in Vernon County Mo in Osage township he is with his wife Sophia, his son Edwin(9) born in KS and daughter Hedwig.(2) born in Nebraska. He has become a citizen by then .The name is under Schwargenholz on the index and spelled erroneously by census taker. Supposedly Heinrich ends up in Iowa but I have not been able to locate them in 1920. He may have died by then or been under a strange spelling.
