June 6 and m. inAmesbury Aug 6, 1730, Franc es Colby, b. in Amesbury, Mass. Nov. 17,1710. She was living 1748. Frances Colby was dau . of Thomas andFrances Colby, who had a family as follows: Ezekiel, m. 1724, MaryElliott (Jo hn Elliot, Edmund Elliott.) Judith, Orlando, Thomas,Nathaniel, m. Elizabeth Clough; Willoughb y, m. Hannah Tuxbury; Sarah, m.John Elliott; Frances, m. Moses Lowell; Anna, m. Moses Wells; Abraham, Hannah (Thomas, Thomas, Anthony). Moses Lowell was a 'yeoman,' and lived in Amesbury, Mass. He soldland there 1767 to Jos eph Hoyt, 1/4 acre next to land sold to LewisLowell, and by the land of Stephen Lowell by a b rook. His wife was thenFrances. He was mentioned in his father's will, but not among th e b. He was a soldier; corporal, in the expedition to Crown Point and atFort William Henry 17 56. (Mass. Rec., 94: 402, 459).'
