Luke says he is born in Missouri and his father is born in Kentucky and his mother is born in Missouri.in 1910 this family has moved to Wyandotte County Kansas and is living at College and Westphail or Westfail Street. . A new son Ray has been born in the interim of the last census and is now 7 years old. In 1920, Luke, Armelda now spelled Armilda are still in Wyandotte County but now on Rainbow Blvd in Rosedale Wyandotte County KS now far at all for their son Ernest's residence with his new wife Gertrude (who is a Whalen) and his young daughter Maxine, Gertrude and Ernie also live on Rainbow Blvd. They are one page away on the census. In 1920 Ray and Loela are still living at home and a new child which looks like the name Gladis , 7 years old are in the household. She is listed as 7 years old. Oddly Luke has aged himself by a number of years and is claiming he is now 60 when he would be in reality 52.

On the 1910 and 1920 Census Armelda informs her father was born in Pennslyvania not Indiana, mothers birthplace of Indiana stays the same. Note gravestone reads Armilda M as spelling of her name and middle initial
