There is a John McDonald born in 1752 to a John McDonald in Glenisla, Angus Scotland. This is a decent possible. Glenisla parish does not border Glamis where some of this family is later from. However it is in the same county and quite near Kincaldrum and the Inverarity parish where Daniel McDonald later works at West Mains farm. So it is a possible. This has been listed as only a possible and put on here as this is the only John McDonald born in all of Angus County around that date. However, it must be said that birth records in the early and mid 1700's even in some parishes in the late 1700's are not that complete. It has been included just in case this record disappears from the internet. The ancestral file on Family Search lists this mans wife only as Mrs John McDonald and I have recorded it as such. It is probably a way of saying unknown wife but that he was indeed married. .
