118. JOEL6 SEYMOUR (William5, John4, John3, John2, Richard1), baptized at New Hartford, Conn., 5 July 1772, died at Stillwater, N.Y., 30 Jan. 1841; married 21 Oct. 1798, ELIZABETH FELLOWS, born 22 Oct. 1776, died at Stillwater, 8 Sept. 1859.

Joel went to Stillwater at eleven years of age, to learn his trade of William, his eldest brother.(sic)

i. ESTHER7, b. 11 Apr. 1799; d. at Stillwater, 28 Mar. 1864; m. 4 Sept. 1839, JOSEPH S. WOOD; no surviving issue.
ii. DANIEL, b. 24 Mar. 1801; res. Ballston, N.Y.; m. 7 Jan. 1846. JANE E. SCOTT, d. 8 Nov. 1875; one child; no descendants living.
iii. NORMAN, b. 31 Mar. 1803; res. Stillwater, N.Y.; m. 24 Sept. 1839, MARY ANN WEEKS, d. 2 Mar. 1860; had five children.
iv. JOEL, b. 2 Feb. 1806; res. New York and Mechanicsville; m. 7 Aug. 1834, ABBY GORDON KENNEY; had four children.
v. SARAH, b. 2 Sept. 1808; d. 26 Dec. 1886; m. 1 Jan. 1829, ELIAS BENTLEY, of Pulaski, N.Y.; had nine children.

ix. ROBERT WEIR, b. 25 Feb. 1823; d. at Newark, N.J., 8 Feb. 1892; m. 29 Oct. 1851, Lucy INGERSOLL PERKINS, b. at Norwich, Conn., 6 Feb. 1829, d. at Newark, N.J., 15 Sept. 1895. He was in the crockery business in New York City with his brother John.
