148. OZIAS6 SEYMOUR (Moses5, Moses4, John3, John2, Richard1), born at Litchfield, Conn., 8 July 1776, died there 3 June 1851; married 3 Mar. 1803, SELIMA STORRS, born at Mansfield, Conn., 29 June 1786, died at Litchfield, 2 Nov. 1814 in her 29th year, daughter of Lieut. Dan4 (Thomas3, Thomas2, Samuel1) and Ruth (Conant).

He was High Sheriff from 1825, for nine years.

His will, dated 23 Sept. 1836, proved 9 June 1851, with three codicils dated 5 Oct. 1838,23 Sept. 1842, and 13 Dec. 1850, bequeaths to David C. Sanford and Origen S. Seymour in trust for my grandson Henry Seymour Sanford, to son Origen Storrs Seymour, and to daughter Henrietta Sophronia Woodruff.

iii. AMELIA SELIMA, b. 6 Mar. 1809; d. at Norwalk, Conn., 15 July 1833 ae. 24; m. 25 Apr. 1830, JUDGE DAVID CURTIS SANFORD, h. 23 Jan. 1798, s. of Joel and Huldah (Prindle). He m. (1) 1 Sept. 1822, Caroline T. Merwin, and (3) a sister of Rev. Edward Bull, rector of Christ Church, Westport.
