32. Samuel Seymour

32. SAMUEL4 SEYMOUR (Samuel3, Richard1), of Farmington, Conn., died before 21 Feb. 1748/9, when the inventory of his estate was taken. He married SUSANNA JUDD, born at Farmington 8 Sept. 1726, died in 1812, daughter of Dea. Anthony3 (John2, Thomas1) and Susanna (Woodford). She married secondly, after 3 Jan. 1749/50 (the date of her father's will), Eliakim4 Seymour (35), q.v., son of Jonathan3 and Eunice (Hollister) and first cousin of her first husband.

Samuel Seymour lived at Kensington Parish, Farmington, now the town of Berlin. He was killed by the fall of a tree near the old fort which stood near where the Kensington Meeting House was built.1) Susanna, his widow, was appointed administratrix of his estate 7 Mar. 1748/9, and was also made guardian of her daughter Susanna. The inventory of the estate amounted to £4177 18s. 6d.
