Services for Barbara Diehl, 56, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at the Betts Funeral Home, 103 E. Rockwell St., Elkhorn, with Pastor Paul McGinnett officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. Born July 24, 1949, in Chicago, the daughter of James and Toni Sakellaris, she died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at home. Barbara married William Diehl on March 8, 1969, in Chicago. She was an active member of the Lauderdale Aqua Skiers and a member of the state and national water ski associations. She was a devoted wife and mother, and loved her entire family. Survivors include her husband, William; mother, Toni Sakellaris; daughters, Amy (Alan) Sleeman of Elkhorn and Lauren (Kaia) Mueller of Elkhorn; granddaughter, Samantha; brother, Sam Sakellaris of Oak Park; and her nieces and nephews.
