This child was found on two genealogies from Some Pucketts and their kin and also on TK Barnards genealogy where Sarah Sparrow(married last name ) marries Thomas Seymour and has a son Thomas. This genealogy of TK Barnard did not even have William and George until later on.but has been added. I believe that this is the son who has land in 1756 land document on Difficult Creek. Some Seymour genealogists believe that this land patent is for John Thomas Sr. however it does not make much sense to me that in the 1742'(See Thomas Sr's notes) he would be applying for a waiver of taxes because he was too old to work the land and then he would purchase 400 acres that he could not work nor pay taxes on. I believe in fact that this is his grandson Thomas, son of Sarah Sparrow(the widow a Sparrow man) and Thomas Seymour who died in Lunenburg County in 1749. It can't be the Thomas the son of William Seymour as that Thomas is not even born until 1765, So obviously he could not own land. Also, I believe there is a logical explanation for why he was not listed on the will From genealogy.com on reading wills. “When one child seems to be missing from the list, you should not attach too much importance to this. It does not mean he or she was disinherited. The family farm may have been passed on to the older son when the father retired. Since he already had his inheritance it wasn't necessary to name him in the will. Another son may have been given money to start his own business or to move west. ” I believe that as the oldest son Thomas already had what he was going to get. Often times individuals will sometimes mention that other children have already gotten their bequest but not always and I have seen this in many genealogies. .16 August 1756.
