James is said to have died in possibly Harmony Indiana as no death certificate was found on him in Missouri and he was said to have lived in Harmony for a time with the family. This family is still in Webb City minus Elizabeth Carey in 1910 Census. Nothing has changed except for the ages, James is 36, his wife Ida is 34 and the girls are 17 and 14 respectively.in 1920 they are still in Webb City, James is 48, ida 43 , Hazel has died and Myrtle no longer resides there. As of 1920 James and Ida were living alone in Joplin and he was still a miner.According to notes of C Seymour the graves of James T Fitzgerald and Ida Fitzgerald are in Webb City Cemetery though James does not have a stone.
