By 1923 he and his young family( maybe only he and Minnie) are living at the Oak Park Arms Hotel which is still standing and is now a retirement community He joins the St Andrews Society. . This is the brother that probably Allen Vodicka referred to as the one who moved to Wisconsin,.Allen Vodicka was married to Marilyn Diehl was only a relation by marriage to the McDonalds. While Marilyn is deceased he is still living as of 2005 and he had vague info on this family including the fact that his mother inlaw Dorothy was still living and she is as of 2005. This brother Alexander, obviously died in Elkhorn Wisconsin. At one time he owned the John C Ward Printing Co and must have bought it young as on 1920 Census he says he is an employing printer.Chicago Tribune (IL) - July 04, 1962 Alexander G.
