79. JAMES5 SEYMOUR (Richard4, John3, John2, Richard1), born at Hartford, Conn., 3 Oct. 1751, buried there 11 Jan. 1782, aged 30; married LUCY WARREN, born 11 Oct. 1753, died 16 June 1809. She married second, Consider Burt of Hartford.

Eliezer Warren and Ebenezer Kneeland were appointed administrators of the estate of James Seymour late of Hartford deceased, 9 July 1782. The estate was insolvent.

i. Lucy6, b. about 1773; d. 31 Aug. 1839; m. at Hartford, 25 Apr. 1798, ELIJAH5 TERRY, b. at Enfield, Conn., 29 Nov. 1770, d. 4 Aug. 1824, s. of Elijah4 (Ephraim3, Samuel2, Samuel1) and Sarah (Parsons). He was an innkeeper at Hartford and a Colonel of militia.
ii. CHILD, buried 9 July 1778 ae. 5 mos.
iii. ELIZABETH, b. 22 June 1779; d. 22 Nov. 1854; m. 22 Oct. 1801, MICHAEL5 BURNHAM, b. at East Hartford, 11 Oct. 1775, d. 19 Jan. 1836, s. of Freeman4 (Charles3, Richard2, Thomas1) and Sybil (Warren). Michael Burnham went to New York from Hartford in 1801 and established The Evening Post. In 1830 sold his interest in the Post to William Cullen Bryant and William Leggett.
iv. SALLY, b. [say 1781]; m. at Hartford, 25 Nov. 1804, HARRIS SAGE, a book-seller, of Hartford and New York City.
