133. Allyn Seymour

133. ALLYN6 SEYMOUR (Allyn5, Timothy4, John3, John2, Richard1), born at West Hartford, Conn., 12 July 1757, died at Redfield, N.Y., 15 July 1828, aged 71 (gravestone); married at West Hartford,S Oct. 1781, AMELIA7 STANLEY, born at West Hartford, 15 Nov. 1759, died at Lenox, N.Y., 13 Nov. 1840, daughter of Samuel6 (Samuel5, Samuel4, John3, John2, John1) and Joanna (Goodman).

He served in the Revolutionary War.

In 1776 he was a Private in the Co. of Capt. Abraham Sedgwick of Hartford, 6th Battalion, Wadsworth's Brigade, and in 1777 he was in the Co. of Capt. Jonathan Wadsworth of Hartford who was mortally wounded at the battle of Stillwater, 19 Sept. 1777.

He removed to Redfield, N.Y., 1802.
