Oathlaw. 1805. “John Carnegie & Elizabeth Pyott, both in this parish, were married April 20th 1805.” Family relationship confirmed on genforum. After Isobel Pyott dies( around 1811 as she has her last child in 1810 and John remarries Mary Jane Stevenson in 1812. and has several children. John dies on dec 31 1873 at the 85 of senile decay . He dies a pauper. His parents are proved on his death certificate as Colin Carnegie and Isabel Greig.. He dies in the same parish Rescobie as where his daughter Catherine Carnegie is born.
