Manoah is with his wife Nancy in 1880 Wyandotte County Kansas the Shawnee township, He advises that his father was born in Virginia and his mother was born in Kentucky.. An ancestral file on Manoah on Family Search gives his parents as John and Sarah Singleton. However most of the records on Family Search gives his mother was a woman named Mary Phillips. I have used this record as one record gives an exact date of birth and there is a marriage record..
