While he was a three year old in 1880 Wisconsin census he was born according to that census in Minnesota. Albert Ohrmundt has parents shown as August and Bertha. All his info on 1880 census matches up exactly with every single later census. There are no other children named Albert C that can be placed in an Orhmundt household. In 1900 prior to his marriage Albert 23, is a head of household in Echo township , Yellow Medicine County in Minnesota with a younger sister Amanda who at 19 appears she was born just after the 1880 Census In 1910 after his marriage listed in South Dakota he and Matilda move to First View Colorado and that is verified on the census. . On the 1920 Census Matilda lists her parents as both being born in Germany. Her birth age info and state comes from 1920 Census Wyandotte County.and the exact birth info comes from her Social security card. She probably died in Kansas where the card was issued.Or she may have died in Minnesota as her husband Albert is in the death index in Minnesota in 1964..Note that two ancestral files list Matilda Ann Heller as being born in Grant County Vernon township South Dakota which is where she was married. However, the census's have her born in Wisconsin. Her parents are listed on family search ancestral file as Andreas Heller(also spelled Hela) and Johanna Caroline Augusta Porath. It is the same Matilda as her date of death matches up exactly with her social security card and one record has the correct husband added. Info on familysearch file verfies her parents.
