Eliezer Warren and Ebenezer Kneeland were appointed administrators of the estate of James Seymour late of Hartford deceased, 9 July 1782. The estate was insolvent.

Michael Burnham went to New York from Hartford in 1801 and established The Evening Post. In 1830 sold his interest in the Post to William Cullen Bryant and William Leggett.|
