112. ASA6 SEYMOUR (John5, John4, John3, John2, Richard1), born at West Hartford, Conn., 16 Sept. 1757, died at Granville, Mass., 12 Feb. 1837; married first, at West Hartford, 14 Nov. 1781, ABIGAIL6 DEMING (Gideon5, Gideon4, Jonathan3, John2, John1), born at West Hartford, 30 Jan. 1759, died at Granville, 24 June 1805; married second, 18 Jan. 1813, NAOMI (SPELMAN) TINKER, born 18 Apr. 1771, died 22 Nov. 1851, widow of Martin Tinker, and daughter of Stephen and Deborah (—) Spelman.

He enlisted at Hartford, in Nov. 1775, under Capt. Sedgwick to go to New York for two months; enlisted again at Hartford in Aug. 1776, for two months, serving at New York; he was drafted in 1777 and again in 1779, in Capt. Noah Webster's Co. and served in New York State. He removed to Granville, Mass., in 1781 and was representative from Granville to the Mass. Legislature, 1812, and Justice of the Peace.
