170. DAVID6 SEYMOUR (Jared5, Thomas4, Thomas3, John2, Richard1), born at Hartford, Conn., 1769, killed 15 July 1806 by falling from a bridge he was building over the East Branch of the Oswegatchie River at Hamilton, Ontario, buried near Ogdensburg, N.Y.; married at Springfield, Vt., 1793, NANCY NICHOLS, born 9 Dec. 1773, died 29 Jan. 1861, daughter of Levi and Elizabeth (Sawyer). She married second, Charles Oakes.
He was a carpenter and bridge builder; lived at one time at Fort Covington.
