179. ERASTUS6SEYMOUR (Ashbel5, Bevil4, Thomas3, Thomas3, John2, Richard1), born at Newington, Conn., 2 July 1779, died at Rootstown, Ohio,9 Nov. 1838; married at Newington, 9 May 1805, CLARISSA6WELLES, born at Newington, 8 Feb. 1777, daughter of Deacon James5 (William4, Thomas3, Samuel2, Thomas1) and Lucy (Welles).
He was a farmer in West Hartford, and removed in 1820 to Rootstown, Ohio.
